At HUHS our clinicians are organized into primary care teams made that include a primary care physician (PCP), nurse practitioner, registered nurses, and health assistants. This helps to ensure that the relationships you will have with your caregivers are both easy to establish and easy to maintain. HUHS offers increasing numbers of same day appointments to provide you with immediate attention when you need it. Choosing a primary care team means that you are more likely to see someone you already know and trust.
All Harvard students are assigned a primary care physician (PCP) and primary care team who will provide urgent and routine care throughout the year. If you do not know your who your PCP and primary care team are, login to the Patient Portal. You can change your PCP at anytime by contacting Member Services at 617-495-2008.
HUGHP members can select or change a PCP by contacting Member Services at 617-495-2008 or using the online form on the HUGHP website.
You can choose a PCP at any of the four HUHS locations: Smith Campus Center (Harvard Square), the Business School Clinic, the Law School Clinic, and the Longwood Medical Area Clinic. For more information about our providers, visit the Clinician Directory. Selections will be granted based on clinician availability on the date we receive your request (please indicate your first and second choices). You will receive an email confirmation once your request has been processed.
