Harvard University Health Services offers regular, preventive care to promote good health, as well as services for emergencies or when something seems wrong. Following is a quick guide to understanding and navigating healthcare at Harvard.
Counseling on Campus
Counseling services are available for academic issues, relationship conflicts, problems with alcohol use, unwanted sexual contact, depression, anxiety, and a variety of other concerns.
Making an Appointment
Information on how and when to make an appointment, including online appointment requests and telephone consultations. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled appointment; "no-shows" will incur a charge.
Dental Care Options
Three dental care options are available to undergraduate and graduate
students and their dependents, including insurance and fee-for-service care.
Financial Assistance
All registered Harvard students who purchase both the Student Health Fee and the Student Blue Cross Blue Shield Plan may qualify for financial assistance to help cover the cost of medically-necessary health care not covered by the insurance benefit.
