Contact Lens Service

We fit most types of contact lenses, including soft, disposable, and gas-permeable (rigid gas-permeable).  The Contact Lens Service fills all valid optical lens prescriptions less than one year old; an HUHS prescription is required.

Services

• Discuss the various lens options and your lifestyle to determine which lens is best for you
• Use various trial lenses and help you choose appropriate lens and fit
• Write a prescription for refraction (eyeglasses) if needed
• Daily weekday classes on wearing contact lenses are also available. 

Services are available to Harvard students and HUGHP members with a primary care physician at HUHS.

Payment for Services: Prices for contact lenses are very competitive, similar to major online contact lens retailers. As with comparable health insurance programs, coverage for contact lenses is not provided. Payment is expected when services are rendered. We accept direct payment by cash, personal check, Visa or MasterCard. Term-bill and payroll deduction options are also available.
