HUHS Pharmacy -- Winter Recess Schedule

The HUHS Pharmacy provides high quality and cost-effective services and medication needs to all HUHS patients. Conveniently located in the Smith Campus Center in Harvard Square, the Pharmacy can fill prescriptions written by HUHS clinicians, and offers a wide selection of non-prescription items at competitive prices, including special offers for students.
As needed, a private consultation room is available to discuss your confidential prescription needs, or any questions you may have about prescription medication or over-the-counter products.

The HUHS Pharmacy carries a formulary of prescription medications and over-the-counter products, many of which are available at lower prices than at other local pharmacies. The Pharmacy can fill prescriptions written by HUHS clinicians. If available, a generic medication is substituted and dispensed for a prescribed brand medication as mandated by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Students can receive up to a three-month supply for most medications, and there is discounted prescription pricing for HUGHP members for a 90-day supply. Call the automated refill line at 617-495-8468 (24 hours a day). Be prepared to supply the seven-digit prescription number located at the top-left corner of the prescription label. You can also call the HUHS Pharmacy directly during regular business hours at 617-496-6661.

    Online refill set up
    Click on the link above to request an online account. Once you create an account, the Pharmacy will be notified and will activate your profile. Please note activation is not immediate and my take one to two business days.
    At the HUHS Pharmacy
    HUHS Pharmacy staff can setup your account with a valid email address. Mobile phone numbers can also be added to your account at this time. Activation is immediate and you will receive an email prompting you to complete your account setup by creating a password.

Please note that spouses and children each need to sign up for emailing and texting services with their own online account.

Mobile App
Once your online account has been setup, you can also use your iPhone or Android smartphone to request refills by downloading the Rx 2 Go app. Log into the app using the same email address and password that you used to create your online account.

The HUHS Pharmacy provides free prescription refill deliver to students and HUGHP members at the Business School, Law School, and Medical Area clinics. Some restrictions may apply and sign-up is required.

  • Students may charge Pharmacy items to their student bill — charges will be listed confidentially on all reports as "Pharmacy Charges" with a dollar amount
  • Harvard faculty and staff may use payroll deduction to charge Pharmacy purchases
  • Cash, personal check, MasterCard, and Visa
  • PCS, Paid, Express Prescription Cards, and others
  • We accept a variety of insurance prescription plans in addition to the HUSHP Student Health Insurance Plan

The Pharmacy offers 15 percent off of specially selected over-the-counter products and holds Pharmacy-wide sales regularly.
